Joe Pascale currently is working in Manhattan as a wine sales representative for the wholesale distributor/importer, Tricana Imports, Inc. Before that he was a sales associate for Grande Harvest Wines in Grand Central Station. Prior to that, he lived
in Florence, Italy, for seven years and has traveled extensively throughout
Italy and other parts of Europe. Formerly a lawyer in Washington,
D.C. with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and
the White House, he has earned the Diploma degree with the Wine
and Spirits Education Trust in London.
He
has an interest in Italian history, literature and culture.
He is second generation Italian-American. His grandfather
moved from the Naples area to New Jersey at the turn of the
20th century. A Pine Bluff, Arkansas native, he has a Bachelor
of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University
and a law degree from the University of Tennessee.
Mildred J. Franco has had
a love affair with Italy since an early age. This love affair
was solidified on the first trip to Italy in 1978. Since 1978,
Mildred has traveled extensively through Europe and particularly
Italy and France. She is a connoisseur of Italian cuisine
as well as French and Spanish cuisine. Before starting her
computer business in Arkansas, she was an executive in the
oil industry in Caracas, Venezuela and New York City. She
currently lives in Arkansas where she and her husband, James
J. Pascale, run an Internet retailer business. A Venezuelan
native, she holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from
McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
James J. Pascale,
a second generation Italian-American, has had an interest
in learning about his heritage because of his childhood memories
of his grandfather from Naples. Since then he has extensively
studied Italian and European history and cultures. He has
traveled throughout Italy. Having a wealth of knowledge and
experience with the Internet, he has been the driving force
behind this venture. Originally from Cliffside Park, New Jersey,
he attended Yale University and McGill University where he
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology and Psychology.
